Blackbeard"s Morning Star liveaboard is the sister ship and identical twin to Blackbeards Sea Explorer, offering year round budget friendly dive liveaboard trips to the world renowned dive sites of the Bahamas. With up to 19 dives per week available, and all meals, snacks and drinks including Rum Punch, wine and beer included, Blackbeards Morning Star liveaboard truly does offer great value for money.
Morning Star has 3 dormitory-style cabins with air-conditioning and 3 shared bathrooms. All cabins are dormitory style and are either single or double bunk beds and have a privacy curtain. In between dives guests can relax on the bow or hang out with other guests in the indoor air-conditioned salon.
We head south to the Exuma Cays. We’re getting away from the cruise ships and the city lights. There is no set itinerary, the captain and crew will take you wherever the conditions and weather are good to offer you the best diving in the area. You`ll make: Day dives, Night dives, Swim with shark and rays, Shark feeding dives. Marine life: Schools of fish, Eels and octopi, Coral and sponges, Lobster, crabs and cleaner shrimp, Turtles – 5 of the 7 species are found in the Bahamas. This is a very special place filled with an extraordinary variety of dives: Coral reefs and vertical walls, High-speed drift dives, Mysterious blue holes.

Provided: Dive tanks – 80s, 100s (available upon request) and 63s (limited supply) and weightbelts.
Diving Facilities: Shaded dive deck, Camera rinse tanks, Dive ladder.
Number of rooms
- 2 SINGLE bunks in forward cabin on the lower deck
- 2 SINGLE bunks in forward cabin at base of ladder on the lower decl
- 2 DOUBLE bunks in midship for couples on the lower deck
- 3 DOUBLE bunks in main salon that usually are used to accommodate singles on the lower deck

Our three dormitory style cabins accommodate 6-8 guests in each.
Bunk beds have privacy curtains and personal space to store your belongings. Bunks – beds come in doubles and singles as uppers or lowers.
Bathrooms (heads) – small and shared with your mates.
Showers – hot water and long showers are a luxury – enjoy them before you arrive.
Don’t pack tons of clothes. We’d rather have room to store all the food we’ll eat each trip.
